This 2-day institute is developed to assist onsite administrators, staff, and faculty in supporting an increasingly diverse student population studying, interning, or pursuing other exchange opportunities overseas. The workshop will have the following objectives:

  • Explore the climate of diversity & inclusion within the European context
  • Provide practical guidance and resources for onsite professionals who are in the position to support diverse participants
  • Empower onsite professionals to review and enhance their policies and practices as it relates to the inclusive support of participants.

5TH International Symposium on Language for Specific Purposes – Ciber Language Conference 2021

Also, the UNC Charlotte’s Department of Languages and Culture Studies is hosting the 5th International Symposium on Language for Specific Purposes (ISLSP) and Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) Business Language Conference at UNC Charlotte’s Center City.

Join us as we take stock and move forward within Languages for Specific Purposes exploring developments and innovation in research, practice, and curriculum.

WISE Conference 2021

WISE is the pioneering conference for faculty leaders, program coordinators, and administrators to develop the knowledge and skills needed to help students advance their intercultural skills and awareness during their abroad experiences.
